Words

I have been busy the entire week, busy, getting inspired, by the countless blogs everywhere. Last week as we were catching up, R insisted that I install Bloglovin, and so I did!

Creativity galore, some of the blogs are absolutely breath taking, it also dawned upon me of how, seriously people take this space.

Blogs are no longer about just penning down your thoughts, its about attracting the right crowd, getting the traffic and also, but making money. Yup, some big bucks!!

Its now all about  pictures and #hashtags, your craft, passion, interests everything explained in few awe-inspiring, wondrous and some stupendous photos. If you know how to  click-edit-print-pretty-breath taking pictures, and have a keen eye for colors and light, pretty much like an pro photographer, all you need is to mish-mash it with your passion and viola you have hot selling blog ready for  the ever yearning crowd!

What with 200,000 followers and counting, something is definitely going right ? Well for those, who lack the keen eye, don't fret, Its acceptable in blogger community to just copy pictures from anywhere & everywhere ,of course you make sure you give  the due credits or take permission wherever mentioned!

Blogging for me personally though,is all about the twisty-curvy-straight-small-big letters that have a mind of their own, talking to you, expressing you, emoting with you.. A story and a  few anecdotes and some pictures maybe... everything just tying it all together.

And, so I continued, with my insatiable thirst for well written blogs. It wasn't long before I stumbled upon QuietSong, The poems, her thoughts, those short stories,  a little more than just,  those pretty pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This is first one to make it to my blog roll *smile*

I don't think writing will ever go out of fashion in blogs *wishful thinking*, for now its just taken a back seat, inconspicuous by its presence.

.Maybe, I am just outdated, have the old school thought,I need more than pretty pictures, I need more than hashtags, I need words!!. Keep writing, keep expressing!

How will I grow?

The cutest thing happened a few days ago and it went like this  "But then , how will I grow ?"  Before I tell you all about it, let's rewind a bit,  It all started with Potty Training I know mommies, I have your attention now ! I started potty training Little when she was about 6 months old.  Now when you have the second one, most of you may agree with me,   you just want to replicate your successes you had with your first one.  You see  , Curious trained pretty quickly, I started with her when she about 2.3 years old.  By her 3rd birthday she was night time trained , like 0 diapers  except on long drives!    I got a wee bit ambitious with Little . As soon as she started sitting up, I decided to start her training. First step of course was buying the right potty seat, thankfully this time I knew exactly what I wanted, I had only two criteria should be soft on her butt and damn easy to clean. I scoured the internet , chec...

The fault in our stars

Two days ago I happen to watch  The fault in our stars  , one of S's rare recommendation!  Oh, what a lovely movie! You end up wanting to be utterly hopelessly in love, just like  one of my all time fav   you've got mail.  Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, you just want to fall in love  over and over again Omg!! oming back to Fault in our stars,Hazel Grace, the  protagonist played by Shailene Woodley is also the narrator, walking us through her story  & Oh,what a lovely sexy deep voice she has .There is so much depth yet softness in her voice that I instantly fell in love it.  S creenplay is the star here, simple story beautifully woven through the eyes of two teenagers, such brilliant effortless acting , that you are just drawn into their lives from the very first scene.    It's not the end , it's the chemistry, innocence, pain of the characters that really makes your heart go all warm and fuzzy. I am sucker for quotes   '...

You are just done!

"Losing respect for someone, is always a weird thing ,you don't hate the person, you just don't feel the need to ever speak to them , again or even think about them in the same way.  You are just done" How apt is this? Please raise your hands or rather give me a  thumbs up👍 (courtesy zoom meetings!). How many of you have felt this way ? One too many times perhaps? These lines are not written by me, but it resonates with me, as to how I have been feeling off late. It  summarizes the hell out of one those peculiar situations you find yourself in.  Lets put things into perspective.  I have a story to tell, rather a long arduous one with all the drama , one which I would love for you to read about one day. Not today , not in this post.  Here is the gist though, I met someone, got tad too friendly  ( no one to blame here, that's me ) , got tad too excited ( things just panned out pretty well between us  or so it seemed at that time ), got too carried...
